East Kolkata Nagrik Foundation is a NGO established since 2004 with a motive to serve the needy and helpless people.
We are currently running 6 Clinics, One Eye Hospital where we are doing Cataract IOL and Phaco both both type of Surgeries approx 350 every month.
We are running two dental clinic, free OPD where General Physician, Child Specialist, Dental, Gynecologist, Orthopedic, Nephrologist, Cardiologist, Urologist, Homeopathy and Acupressure etc. are available.
We organize every year approx 8 – 10 blood donation camp. and also organize free medical health camp in association with Fortis Hospital and Medica Hospital where people get there ECG, Eye checkup, Blood check up completely free.
We are under process of constructing a 100 Bed Multispecialty Hospital in Bharat, Laketown Central Kolkata with collaboration with Bharat Sewashram Sangh.
We are also opening a new a new Pathology unit at Laketown in February’2022.
We are continuously distributing water through our water tanker and also have Two Ambulance and Hearse Van.
We are running a monthly chat cum interactive webinar program “HELLO DOCTOR” on zoom where we call renowned doctor of Kolkata online where people can ask them there quires on line and get benefited.
During this covid pandemic we have been regular distributed ration to approx. 2000 pax every day with support of Bidhan Nagar Commissionerate and Shri Sujit Bose MLA & Minister of State fire and emergency services. We have recently distributed biscuits and chocolate from M/s Cadbury ltd., and milk shake from M/s Hershey’s Milk Shakes Ltd. good where distributed in 1.Laketown, Bangur, Jessore Road, Kalindi 2.VIP and Shreebhumi 3.Saltlake through Bhidhan Nagar Commissionate 4.Duttapukur 5.Madyamgram 6.Barasat 7.Habra 8.Sunderwan area.
We have opened a Dialysis care Unit at our Bangur Clinic where we have already installed 8 Dialysis Machine running at Subsidized Rates, now presently we are doing approx 44 dialysis patient weekly under the supervision of Dr. Lalit Agarwal Nephrologist Head of the Department Woodlands Nursing Home & also we open Dialysis unit at Laketown.
